That's your opinion Chesters so why had dept reached £1900 billion since labour lost power when it was 700 billion in 2010 .

 

And not only that by 2020 if the tories keep the same borrowing levels up they will have borrowed more than all the labour governments combined .

Mostly because to repay a debt you pay the installments and interest on top then ofcourse borrow enough to run the country ,seems simple mathematics to me.

Labour took power with no dept at all then frittered it all away then borrowed on top they emptied the kitty and left a huge debt aswell

The letter should have read 'all the monies gone and theres a huge debt your going to have to pay aswell'

Havnt you learnt your history ,labour governments squander money and tories punish people putting the bank account straight ,then labour squander the money and the tories etc etc etc

To run the country so if you run it WRONG and you have to borrow more money lose your AAA rating so it ACTUALLY costs you more to borrow and it increases our national dept you would get the sack from work for that wouldn't you . Edited June 26, 2017 by big_cod

Labour made the initial debt ,you pay interest ontop to repay it ,labour run the country wrong it spent money it couldnt afford and borrowed to hide it
