Yes any excuse is used by harrods to raise prices ,excuses are loved to raise prices but they are excuses not reasons . Farmers do it every spring!

Ukraine is the excuse this year but in REALITY (Not headlines) we hardly import anything from there , what little we do we can source elsewhere, the amount is so small Ukraine doesn't even appear on this chart

What "facts"?

Feed prices are rising globally.

If chicken prices were somehow rising because of Brexit, it would be reasonable to expect prices for chicken to be higher in the UK than in France or Germany, but they're not.

EDF is 85% owned by the french government ,i have no doubt money is being ploughed into it from french tax payers AND EDF in the uk  is milking the UK to help .All governments take with one hand and occasionaly give with the other ,the french gas price increase will be paid for if not via increased bills more taxpayers money!

All this info is out there if you get off facebook and headlines for a few seconds🙄

You were talking about chicken, not gas.

If you want to talk about gas, go find the numbers for the prices paid in France vs the prices paid in the UK for domestic gas.

The most recent I can find are for first and second quarters of 2021.

Gas prices for the UK were 3.5p per kWh.

France was 5.9p per kWh.

Germany was 5.6p per kWh.

Spain was 6.0p per kWh.

Ireland was 5.4was 5.9p per kWh.

Source.

Off you go...

Off I go and  do you think per household we use more gas here where it’s pisses down and blows most days than in Europe.  uk pensioners get one   of the worst pensions in Europe just how do think our pensioners  are going to cope on a state pension with a double increase . As correctly pointed  out in the ITV interview, with Boris Johnson but the woods are  there again infront of all the tress aren’t they but it won’t wash old fruit .And that’s exactly why the Tory’s are going to get trashed full of waff and bare faced lies .

The Tory’s  have had 12 years of running  this country down to the bone dentists doctors etc etc etc all short and people have had enough of the exuses .
