Well the pound plunged to its lowest level since 1985 as economists have little faith in the U.K. economy . Share sell offs rocketing yesterday under our new PM and inflation is soaring .Brexit Britain is crushing our economy.

It will be years before we can fully account for the impact Brexit has had on the country, but the grave damage it has done to the Conservative Party is already clear. The only question is whether it’s fatal or not

The UK will be stuck with searing inflation for years because of Brexit, according to strategists at Wall Street’s top banks. 

Citigroup Inc., Bank of America Corp. and Standard Bank all see the UK as a outlier in the developed world because of the economic damage wrought by the decision to cut ties with the European Union. Even as price pressures start to fade elsewhere, they say UK inflation will be higher-than-normal because of immigration controls and supply chain disruption. International investors deserting the UK as they  lose  confidence in the juddering U.K. economy, Liz Truss’s government was warned as the pound hit a new 37-year low against the dollar.

Fears that the British economy has already entered recession following much worse-than-expected retail figures sparked heavy selling of the pound on the money markets on Friday
