Rocket Rod

    • great for a bit of fun on the bank side with the kids

blimey thats more than i catch on the "correct" :rolleyes: equiptment ,scrub out the nymphomaniac off my christmas wish list and the rod goes on ,the mrs will still complain of the fish smell though :D

So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

How wrong you are Rabbit. My boy bought one for himself this year out of his money his grandma gave him. We then went on hloiday down the west country. Two families of us went to berry head on the rocks with disposable barbeques and the gun along with my usual fishing gear. The first thing i did was set up this weapon and let my boy fire it into water off the rocks. within milli seconds he caught his first pollack with it. My wife was next, fired it out and she caught her first pollack with it. Following that, my boy's turn, he then went on to pull in a garfish. There was numerous other kids around all fishing when one of them said to my boy,' thought it was a toy'. That remark Rabbit was priceless. Excellent fun.

 

And we will return next year with the said 'toy' for another go. Great fun and also very good value for money. Might just get you some photo's if i can sort them out.

 

The only real value with this thing is the fact that there is no need to cast, but that to me is the essence of teaching kids to fish. I will bet that the enjoyment on playing any fish on this would be severely limited too.

Its bloody 'orrible, get rid and teach'em properly. :fishing:

One thing for sure you can never underestimate the rubbish that folk will buy. Loads more of that sort of stuff on Ebay

Ditto, I cant wait to take my grandson fishing with one of these....the fun I know we will have, will stay with us for ever..:):)

 

I have gear worth many thousands of pounds, but never had fun like this with a rod costing under a tenner !!!! :P :P and I aint even hit the water yet!!!! :D

lighten up rabbit, i have taught him how to fish properly its the way ive showed him all along and he will grow up to be a man like the rest of us. castings a bit off but getting better.

 

as others have said this is a bit of fun and i did take in to consideration a lot of factors in deciding if i should get it or not, being an angler after all i should know these things right ;), should i order you one buddy :)

 

no worries though im going to get a small reliable and durable fixed spool for his little shakespear 6ft'r and get him spinning for trout this summer where the rocket rod cant be used
