Rocket Rod

    • great for a bit of fun on the bank side with the kids

if it encouraged my boy to get enthusiastic over fishing im in.its a novelty toy take it at face value.if we are lucky to catch a fish then it will be treated with the respect it needs.

Rabbit,can I ask, WHAT qualifications you have, to decide for us what is and what is not "Proper" tackle for fishing.

 

For me, you have nothing at all of any importance to tell me......

Why thank you kind Hembo. The day it was used in fun it must have caught a least half a dozen fish, so that was a bonus. And it will be used to catch fish again next year. Unless it gets destroyed in playing Norries beer can skittels during the christmas break. Good value, i think so. :2:

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Dont think it will Barry, its pretty well made, and robust too...its better built/made than some of the junk "proper" gear i've bought in the past, and costing lots more..:):)

 

I'm looking forward to filling the reel with 100lb braid in the spring, and getting my first Common on it...although, it might be better suited to Tope..:)

Have you heard about the guys down the west country, they are using 16lb line to catch 100lb conger, i suppose it could be used for that as well. :D

Sorry Rabbit but since about the only angler agreeing with you is gozzer in sarky mode i think it is you that looks the plonker.

I do a Huckleberry Finn with my grandson and it works a treat :lol:

 

"Where you going grand dad?"

 

"Fishing son"

 

"Where grand dad?"

 

"Ohooo don't know quite yet"

"Why?"

 

"Well you might not like the place when I have decided where to go"

 

"We could go to the pier"

 

"I'm not so sure, I have to pay £6 to fish on the pier and we would have to stay for 3hrs to make it worth while"

 

By the time I have finished he as hot as mustard and wild horses wouldn't stop him, no gimics, good old fashion rods and away to go magic.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM
