Just returned from a trip to Cornwall, where I fished off rocks. Some mighty waves on some days covere both rods and reels in spray. The rods I can deal with I know to wash them off with soapy water. What about the reels? there must be plenty of salt water in them. Do I just spray with WD40 or do I wash them first? help please, cos i'm keen to get back on the rivers as soon as possible.

Agree with Andrew. I have a Cubb barbel xp which retails around £120.00. I also have the wychwood as mentioned above. In my opinion the wychwood is as good if not better

The purpose of injecting worms is not to make them wriggle more, it makes them pop off the bottom and then can be seen. Can be deadly for Perch. As j_s said always inject on a firm surface, not in the palm of your hand.

I have personally watched a cormorant devour at least 3 eels and the same amount of fish within a ten minute session in padstow harbour. believe me those guys are eating machines.
