We all coped then mate.Must be a Health and Safety thing now I cannot believe the garbage they chuck out these days! All schools are closed due to this unpresidented snowfall ie 2" of the stuff. corydoras 469
Well it has been cold in Southampton all day, bitterly so. It was trying hard to snow all day but did not come to much. I got in at midnight and there was still nothing. Now it is chucking it down, I almost feel at home. Because the ground is so dry it is lying well at the moment. If we have a few days of this the south east will grind to a halt methinks. The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.Vaut mieux ne rien dire et passer pour un con que de parler et prouver que t'en est un!Mi, ch’fais toudis à m’mote

Way back, in Bristol we went SIX WEEKS with frozen pipes and had to walk to school, so did the teachers, it was great fun. Every driver worth his salt fitted chains, I think Dad really enjoyed that bit. No women drivers in those days so no problems on the roads and tea trays for sledges
