When does your Post arrive

Funny thing, yesterday I received a second Post. Thought they had been 'done away with' to save money.

So when does your Post arrive?

Mine normally arrives between 10:30 and 11:45

what is happening is that the 10.30 am delivery (and im only talking about my office )is any first 2nd class letters are delivered by persons who do the collections in the afternoon . or it could be your postie had a missort and delivered it at the end of their delivery.my mail is usually delivered between 10.30 --11.ooam. there will be more changes to royal mail in the new year as it looks like they are withdrawing night staff in some delivery offices.(whether this will improve deliveries we will have to see.

My post arrives just after the postman has been, whenever that is these days.

It's never the same two days running any more.

Always used to be 7.30 am, now it's anywhere between 8.30 and 12.00 noon.

The postie is normally a different one every day now as well.

It was less than a year ago when I could set my watch by the postie , 8-45 every morning except Sundays. It turned up at 3.50pm yesterday but I consider that lucky as its the first time we have had a delivery on a Wednesday for months.

i reported on here long ago that the little metal tabs in the boxes had disapeared (the posty changed them on emptying the box to show it HAD been emptied, nowadays you havent a clue).

i read after complaints from the person in charge of the dooda that watches them ,that they will be reinstated but it will take 2 years  2 years to put a tab in a slot ,it took 2 secs to take it out
