Where to start?

1. Agree about wasps though their grubs may get a reprieve

2. Definitely agree with the fireworks.

3. Wall to wall pole anglers sitting a few feet apart on my local brook when the roach start coming down, you have to be there at first light to even get a sniff of a peg and if you don't fish with a pole (which I don't) you may as well not bother.

4. Anglers who fish with more rods out than hands available and then toddle off to the next swim to talk to their mates.

5. Bad language when there are little ones around. (Sorry Zappagod but its just unacceptable it doesn't offend my ears but please not in front of the kids.

6. Fishing without proper equipment i.e. disgorger, forceps, unhooking mat, landing net.

7. Bad fish handling leads on from No.6, and includes unecessary use of a keepnet for larger fish, chucking fish back and swinging larger fish to hand.

8. Bite alarms set on LOUD!!! so that their owners can hear them when they are on the other side of the lake, (especially when the culprit is a local bailiff).

9. Local Authorities who close carparks adjacent to the canal to prevent drug abuse and in doing so prevent angler access.

10. Commercials who stock Chub and barbel into stillwaters.

That will have to do for now.

Our perception of time as an orderly sequence of regular ticks and tocks has no relevance here in the alternative dimension that is fishing....... C.Yates
