I can't think of any celeb anglers I'd like to fish with, after all they might be a right nuisance what with poaching your swim and getting all huffy if you catch a bigger fish than they do :rolleyes: Of the anglers I've seen on the telly (and it's not many) Chris Yates strikes me as someone who'd have a few stories to tell over a couple of beers.

I don't know whether she fishes either mate...... :P

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

I have already been fortunate enough to fish with Vagabond, on the Itchen so I would chose either Lefty Kreh or Lee Wulff (if he was still with us).

I think for me as a regular to fish with it would be my brother. There arent many things I find as pleasing as warm summers day spent wading the river whilst chatting with my brother about lifes events. Time seems to stand still in those moments and you just feel in total balance with the world....then the wife calls :rolleyes:

 

As for 'celebrities' it would have to be Danny Fairbrass.

 

I cant believe I actually said that with a straight face :D:P

 

Seriously though I think it would have to be Paul Whitehouse. The guy is just a comedy legend and seems a decent bloke. Bet he could have you in stitches all day!

Sadly all gone but at least we have their wonderfull books to read.

 

I am not sure if there is anyone (angling 'celebrity) around now that I would enjoy fishing with; I'll take a rain check on that.
