I think a clothes-horse would be most appropriate.

Six months before she died. Princess Di was being called a right slapper by the gutter press?

`Di gets off parking ticket`, `Di gets off speeding ticket, 70mph in a 30 limit`? Di and Fergie go clubbing dressed as police women? `Di spends more on clothes in a year than the average familly man earns in a lifetime`? So why the memorial?

At least our present queen has managed to keep her knees together when the squaddies are about? Even living with that sour old `Greek`?

Paul.

We don`t use J`s anymore!!

STEVE POPE:

I really can't believe I have just read your last post Mr Bird.

No matter what your views and I am no great fan of Diana, I consider your post despicable.

Just be grateful that you can read.

tho' apparently,

(not yet)

can you, Mr Pope,

respect others opinions.

i have no veiw either way on diana ,in the begining she was a shy girl ,later she became hardened by the continual press coverage (who can blame her) i expect after charles she behaved just as ordinary people do unfortunatly her name and status brought it all to the media`s attention ,if she had stayed a nanny done exactly what she did no-one would have given a toss unfortunatly with fame comes infamy :(

the post was actually over the cost of the memorial not over diana herself :)

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

To many, many people she was well worth remembering, noone is perfect but she was pretty close to it untill that rotten husband of hers started playing around. I think she suffered from being a very feminine woman, and was certainly not a "dog".

She once smiled at me from about 10ft away (just before her marriage) and I was captivated.

Surely something better than a flowing wotsit could have been designed to remember her by.. a statue of her with children would have been nice, or at least something you could gaze on and say" ahh yes, that was Diana, a lovely lady".

:):):)
