Spent today at Magna today.... its a museum devoted to Steel Production excellent fun for all the family...it was quite dark so I experimented with the manual settings!!!!(quite brave for me)

Not entirely happy with these, although had to be quick with the Robin as he was a quick mover.

Looks like you got the hang of it OK.

 

I presume the camera tells you if the exposure is correct?

 

It's one feature I miss from my now unused SLR, split screen focusing and a little green light (with a red arrow either side indicating under or over) in the viewfinder when the exposure is spot on.

I used to like fishing Blackabeck Tarn, up in the Fells but doubt if the hip could take the walk these days
