I don't think you could be more wrong about coronavirus. The death rate in Italy is over 5% and most of Italy's cases are still in the first week, before complications start. There are 32 people from the Diamond Princess who are still in a serious/critical condition and as more people become infected and those respirators are needed elsewhere, the death rate for that ship is likely to head north of 5% as well.

In both cases, the age profile of those affected is probably higher than average but the old, the fat, those with co-morbid conditions etc had better start taking this seriously because it's a killer on a scale that hasn't been seen in living memory.

It obviously needs a sidekick to thin out the weak and elderly in its home continent ebola by itself seems not up to the task!

2018 SPANISH FLU IS THE SAME  H1N1 So far, 14,000 people have died and 250,000 people have been hospitalized during the 2019-2020 flu season THAT STILL HAS A WAY TO GO, according to preliminary estimates from the CDC.

A side note, I have totally stopped handshaking. Not because of hand washing, but rather everyone is out of bog paper.

Should we all self isolate ,i only went shopping once a week already so no difficulty that way.

Trouble is i could only last 6 months and wouldnt be getting fresh milk (thats the only thing i cannot source cheap or easily stockpiled bar dried)

You cannot depend on online shopping if everyone is potential carriers or sick unable to work ,no problem cleaning packages being delivered but you cannot eat what isnt delivered .

As i said somewhere else perhaps laws should be brought out where at least a month should be stored so you survive food wise ?

Its not difficult to stock pile you simply over a couple of months buy twice what you need then replace what you use keeping a months worth as a buffer! More if you want!

Just yesterday i took delivery of ten cases of what is meal replacements for those unable (or unwilling) to eat 'ordinary ' food ,its not designed for healthy people to use but it will keep you alive if you have nothing else and it tastes nice lol

Those on repeat meds need their typical 2 months supply doubled but once you have your 2 months buffer it can go back to normal so the increase not felt after the initial cost.

Online stores will make money unless the masses turn to zombies but i dont envy the delivery guys delivering ,perhaps they should put the delivery in a box half way down the garden ?

Hopefully the utilities have foolproof ways of keeping their wares coming we will all be fooked if they need peolle every few miles to press a button to open a gas valve to send it on! I pity the fools thinking by joining some whacko expensive scheme where their supply is 'green' not sure how its not mixed with every ones elses on its journey to your house ? More blokes pressing buttons lol

Everone on here can catch and eat fish cod will eat his wormy cod and some can shoot critters but i think its going to come as a shock to these Millenials especially if they cant charge their smart phones ,its bad for humanity when the phone is smarter than its owner!
