Nope, got it this this time creme caramel, and yes there will be flour and milk in the puds. The gravy's a bit of an experiment.....see.....thinking outside the box.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back

People are getting too good at this game, n4lly's eggs look very tasty and Phone's steak is mouth watering.

There'll be no 'after' photos of my offering just in case I mess up the cooking, if I don't it'll be eaten too quickly anyway. A perfect end to a very enjoyable day's trotting on the Kennet;

All good, but swap that bottle of red....for...

I have a pleasant bottle of Merlot, the wife's medication precludes her from assisting me with it, that's all you need to know, don't really care what you all got. :P;)

All,

I've paid particular attention to this thread. One never knows when one will have a chance to hop the pond. I have a question. What is a "roasting joint"? Another question. Do Brits eat like we Yanks? I mean do you see how quickly you can devour your food or do you enjoy eating. I try to "enjoy" but my family tries to eat everything in the span of one telly commercial.

As for the wine? - - will a tall glass of heavily iced and sweetened Lipton tea do?
