One hour special on CNN tonight. Top Gear guy will win - big time. Money talks and he is money money money to BBC.

You may be right, but I would not bet the farm on it. SInce I don't watch the program it makes little difference to me.

Yup it's on the BBC website, he's been given the boot.

 

I'm now wondering what exactly I pay my licence fee for, top gear was pretty much all I watch on the beeb since they lost the F1 contract . . .

Same here, to be honest. If the BBC channels and fee were optional, I'd opt out. Almost all of what we watch we get via Sky.

Same here! I have sky, now tv, amazon prime and Netflix! I wouldnt pay bbc fee if I could choose!

What alternative did the BBC have? He physically assaulted someone. Who amongst you would not get the sack for thumping a colleague?
