i talked this over with my boss a long time ago as his origins are from pakistan but born and raised in scotland. the way he sees it is that for all time the word paki has been used soley for the purpose of malicious intent as the word nigger has been used. black people call each other niggers ive witnessed it and not on tv, also my boss and his brother call other pakistanies pakis they can see alot of the funny side. he mentioned that it is only bitter people who take offence to the word paki so they can have somthing to feel special about for some strange reason

 

So in that case isn't Jermain calling the 2 girls "white trash" racist?

for the record i'am not racist i love all shades of brown, theres nothing better than a big black womans arse. and i have relatives from jamaica and my neices father is pakistani so how can i be when i love these people so. and i can openly talk to them about being black to help me understand so i can inform the ignorant *not you guys*

Of course it is racist Bullying . Really its not rocket science . The reason that the three girls are picking on her is that she is different to them. They mimic her accent and have said things like “I wish she would f off home” Unfortunately this is something that I have believed for a long time and that despite all the advances we think we have made in this country there is still a nasty undercurrent of institutional racism that is alive and well in our society.

 

The general opinion of the garage where I work, oops sorry go to, is thank God we're all different or how would we know what to pick on.

On a more serious note, one comment or three makes no odds, racism is racism you can't pick & choose. To be honest from what I've read, it comes across more as jealous bullying from low class women against a far better looking & higher class individual, they've done no more than show themselves up as base unlikeable women with a pretty heavy dose of the green eye.

Strangely the only person who doesn't seem to have complained is the injured party.

Only know what I have read and heard as I have never watched the program so can't really comment.

What I can say is if they allow shite like this on TV, featuring brain dead so called celebrities to air their views without someone to tell them what to say, what the **** do they expect.

I cannot understand why anyone would watch this garbage and then get offended at it. I am offended that programs like this are made and transmitted.

It seems the viewing figures are up so it would appear that the only winners are Channel 4

Bet there's more who want it on telly than don't.

 

Me.....I don't have a licence and don't waste time watching telly.

When they stop repeating time and time again on the box I may consider buying one.

 

 

Or if they drop the price to a more reasonable cost.

You no damn fine what the problem is.

I know your not that Niave,Being called a Brit,is no more offensive than using terms such as Aussie,or kiwi.In the right context. They are terms that would be used by poeple to discribe them self albeit again in the right context, I have never heard some one from the Sub continant ( and I know many ) refer to them selfs as Pakkis, The term is a derisory one used as a slight or put down.

They are perfectly at liberty to watch it. I still find the whole concept offensive.

I just don't understand why people would watch it, knowing what sort of program it is and what sort of idiots are in it, and then take ofence and start phoning in to complain when they act true to type. It's like watching a porn film and then complaining there were sex scenes in it

The viewers have a responsibility in all of this, if they didn't watch it, it wouldn't be on. if they all switched off instead of complaining it would die the death it deserves. It was dying on it's feet anyway, this little controversy has given it a new lease of life. The oxygen of publicity as someone put it

I still can't believe that the girls are being anything but bitchy. If this Indian lady was instead a white American, German, Irish etc etc then it would be seen as it is.....bullying. It is only because she is a different colour that it is percieved as racism, let's put it into perspective.

Jade's just a two bit nobody and quite plainly JEALOUS. The indian lass has looks, a body to die for, class and genuine success, all things jade and her weak minded hangers on could only dream of.

 

To those who question the racist motives.........ask yourself if the posh totty was white if jade and her cronies would still be having a go. IMO they'd be too busy brown nosing to be bothered bullying.
