I guess that must be down to whatever percentage voted yes thinking like wise, I guess they didn't like being told "non" by someone who we had bailed out of trouble. :rolleyes::lol:

That is the one I was thinking of when I posted!! And that was about the only time I ever voted MYSELF (Used to do a proxy vote as always away at sea!) And would never vote Labour as long as my backside pointed down sorry to say (I'm not really sorry at all!! So why did I say that :blink: )

It is to be observed that 'angling' is the name given to fishing by people who can't fish.

If GOD had NOT meant us to go fishing, WHY did he give us arms then??

(If you can't help out someone in need then don't bother my old Dad always said! My grandma put it a LITTLE more, well different! It's like peeing yourself in a black pair of pants she said! It gives you a LOVELY warm feeling but no-one really notices!))

Sorry but Ben Franklin was never president and unless they are impeached, they are former rather than ex presidents.

He may never have been President of the US of A, but he was the 6th President of the Supreme Executive Council of Pennsylvania, the 23rd and the 6th Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He was also the first Postmaster General. Franklin was a real polymath and spoke 5 languages. When he died some 20,000 are reputed to have turned out for his funeral. Some how I don't think that 20,000 are going to turn up in person to mark the passing of Mr Bush when he shuffles off this mortal coil.
