I think I'll steer clear of adding fuel to the fire that some of you guys are already building. If the police had any evidence the parents would have been arrested - end of. This is all just scaremongering, press hype and sensationalism. If the parents ever get charged with anything then, just maybe, I'll have a re-think.

I was working with a journalist from a very well known national broadcaster yesterday, and the assumption (that's all it is, there's no firm evidence as far as I know) is that the girl was a light sleeper (and that's not assumption, that's documented fact) and her parents, who both have access to prescription drugs regularly sedated her to make there life easier.

Don't have much time to post here at the mo, too much to do as usual this time of the year.

 

Have said from the beginning that there was something not right about this, some may argue they see innocence in the face of the two parents but this is what I have not seen as yet.

 

I have looked and I do not like what I can see.

 

The Parent in me still wishes that the child be found safe and sound. But there is a little bit in my history that tells me this will not be so. I have been closer to similar casses than I care to remember, except when I close my eyes and have no control.

 

As I have said before, I hope the whole issue will now come to a close. Some will realise they have been fooled and taken for a ride, some others, perhaps me will be proved wrong, but the story surely now starts to come to an end.

WE Don't live in Portugal Rob. You must understand that things are different. WE are used to having trials 'played out' in the Media weeks or months before jurisprudence has a chance. DO NOT assume that the Portuguese Police are slack or useless, they are 'different' is all. If it had happened in this Country one or other of them would already be liable for prosecution.

If she is a light sleeper, you could equally say that the little girl simply got up and went for a walk.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.


New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Don't you think they brought that upon themselves with the media coverage they sort?

 

For months now this news item has raised its head every week and some times on a daily basis leading to people speculating as to what might have happened, some might say now that it has back fired resulting in millions of people drawing conclusions from what the family has now stated.

 

The police have not disclosed anything, a family spokes woman was the one who broke the news about the blood in the car.

 

I would put my hands up to being extremely doubtful of the story line right from the beginning, again the vast majority of info being being taken from the parents and family members.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM

Sounds like your journalist friend has all the answers. perhaps you should name him, tell us what ''National Broadcaster'' he works for so we can all finally get all the truth, and so end all this speculation about the case.

But of course you wont I suppose because journalists and the media they work for are not intersted in the truth, just personal Kudos, and newspaper sales.
