Or holding something else  or do you think too much of something is not good for yer.

I was crossing me fingers that you haven't invited me to a beach somewhere at the mo, as you would have to cast out for me. I'm ok on a boat though.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Whatever treatment you're trying, if the condition resolves itself while you're having that treatment, the evidence of your own one-man randomised trial tells you that it works (which is why some people swear by certain treatments when they would have got better anyway).

Which is why viral infections that eventually go away on their own are the most likely to have a collection of folk remedies; warts being the prime example.

A little bit of what you fancy does you good.

The psychological good does count for a lot especially when recovering from an operation, I was told by my doctors not to go over board with my diet i.e. cutting out cholesterol foods.

A woman told me about her father who had a large operation on his stomach to remove a cancer when he was 77yrs of age, he left hospital with maybe six months to live so he said to hell with it carried on smoking and having a drink, sod the tablets on the basis of if I am going to die I will do it happily.

Ten years later he walked back into Prince Phillip Hospital to visit a friend and one of the nurses recognized him and could not believe it. She told him when he left we did not expect to see you again. He died when he was 89yrs.

I am not advocating smoking but his daughter who was talking to me was convinced that what kept him alive was his attitude and doing what he wanted rather than what people said was good for him. And one thing he loved was a herbal tea which he drank everyday and called his lifes blood.

Mind over matter call it what you want it worked for him, the doctors had sent him home to die.

I fish, I catches a few, I lose a few, BUT I enjoys. Anglers Trust PM

I'm still not sure what your point is on this.

Do you actually believe that there is some tangable physical benefit to using homeopathy that isn't entirely reliant on a combination of the placebo effect and psychotherapy ?

or

Do you simply have a beef with the NHS and it's current funding and organisational structure ?

Honestly Ken, I don't know if homeopathy works or not (it didn't for me) but all i'm saying is i'm open minded enough not to just dismiss it out of hand because it seems an odd 'science'. Plenty we don't understand yet about ourselves and how we work etc.

As for the last bit..........well yeah, don't we all! ;)

Good news, it seems like the PCTs are going to cut funds from homeopathy in favour of evidence based medicine.

Your being to harsh Ken, homeopathy just needs some more research, preferably without all tht Scientific Method mumbo jumbo and you'll be convinced it works just fine. ;)

Chief executive Paula Ross said: "This is an ill-advised publicity stunt in very poor taste, which does nothing to advance the scientific debate about how homeopathy actually works.

I can see at least two things wrong with that ;)

I always wondered (i) ...... if I were a supplier of homeopathic pills to (say) Boots the Chemist, and they thought I was passing off blank pills as the real thing, how would they ever prove their case?

I always wondered (ii) ...... if you forget to take your homeopathic remedy, does it count as an overdose?
