Will this be the year Wingham breaks the bream record? Surely it must be the year of the first 10lb+ tench...

 

Just out of interest - Steve, what would you do if somebody landed a record fish at Wingham?

 

Would you request they said it was caught from an "undisclosed water" or would you want your fishery to get a mention?

 

Would you be concerned if it was mentioned, that you'd suddenly be bombarded with membership requests from glory hunters?

I've love a record fish to come out and would have no problem with the water being named.

If I was ever lucky enough to get a record from Wingham I would have to insist that in the picture I had one of those black "porno" strips across my eyes so couldnt be recognised! Might even do it naked!

 

Strange I know but it would tickle my (and my mates who knew) warped sense of humour! In fact I would also want to be known as "undisclosed Southern angler" :rolleyes::wacko::blink:

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Thats a good point! What happends if the angler doesn't want the publicity! Tell you what Budgie, if by some fluke, I ever catch a record I'll ring you and you and can hold it for the pic naked, to be honest that would make me laugh too! :P
