Where is all this wind coming from?

Why cant it be windy during the week and calm at the weekend?

It is windy during the week out on the perch lakes and rivers. Trust me, I was at a netting on Monday

Do you work indoors ? Most offices are calm at all times except when someone opens a window or the boss decides to check what time someone returns from lunch.

I may be wrong but I think It's because the Jet Stream is sitting right on top of the U.K. and it's dragging cold air from the north and warmer air from the south.

Happiness is Fish shaped (it used to be woman shaped but the wife is getting on a bit now)

It could have something to do with the amount of curry that seem to be consumed after every fishing trip down your way. :D

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Thanks, good job you reminded me: if I start cooking them now, there should be nothing left of them by Christmas day.

Went perch fishing this morning. No wind before 11 am. but no bites on prawn. maggot or tiny lures.

Wind sprang up at 11 am, and got stronger and colder. The fishing got worse !
