Considering the rather trouble times we live in, It's odd what offends people, over 1000 complaints about something that was never shown?

 

But its good to see that the assistant secretary general of the muslin council of Britian has nothing better to do then tweet about a kids program. In a world where a 80 year old priest gets murdered in his own church and families get mowed down when out together I would have thought he would have some more important things to comment about.

 

Maybe because if he did, some radical hate filled murderous " Muslim " may slit his throat for daring to question the will of " allah " ????

I have never knowingly watched Fireman Sam and probably never will, but I assume that it is a cartoon of some sort, made specifically for children.

If that is the case why was a page of the koran included in the animation? Was it essential to the plot?

If not, why would the animator feel that what the scene needed was a page from a holy book, of any description. Seems very odd to me.

 

I suspect an animator found an image of what he thought was a bit of illegible text, not realising what it was.

That sounds reasonable. Can't imagine why it would have been used intentionally.

Ah, but was it the 'will of god' that he should find it, and then use it? If so, which 'god'?

After all, tis said that he/they work in mysterious ways.

The christian / jewish one was worse if he wasnt encouraging begatting then racial cleansing was hot on his list if not both at the same time ,child murder was a sign of goodness it seems

Muslims are new on the scene and they can use the christian tactics of coercive threats to join the gang or die ,or as bush said (president not burning) if your not with us your against us then gleefully set the middle east on fire to prove his point and who can blame those effected to try and return the favour if they can
