So guys & Gal's - who enjoys a flutter on the Horses & other Sports betting??

 

I do, & would be Interested to hear from like minded members who, would like to share info/Tips etc' & Indeed ask for a dedicated forum just for this.

There is little to no traffic on the fly and sea fishing sections. I don't think you're going to get going t garner much interest here. Personally, I haven't put a bet on a horse race in 20 years - and that includes the GN.

I have a horse in training with a couple

Of friends withPhilip kirby phil is a customer of mine won 3 times 2nd twice both times he was second he was 14-1 this was over the last year just had his 3 month break and is back to it but the lads would shoot me if I told everybody when he is going to win all I can say is he loves Southwell and seems to revel there .

 

I could allways pm you Martin when he is ready to have a go and maybe hopefully win 🐎 £ 😁

We to hayling saturday and went in the amusements ,i only spent the 2ps from our change container (half each)and a 50p i found on the beach ,the mrs on the other hand.....!

Nor me nor I neither. I've never set foot in a bookmakers shop. Very occasionally I buy a lottery ticket.

We had two Horses with Paul Felgate in the 90's.

 

Highborn & Double Splendour. They Won a dozen or so races apiece & placed many times.

 

We had some great days out, one of the highlights probably with Highborn winning the Queen Elizabeth All Weather Handicap at Wolverhampton in 1996. (from memory) & being presented with a rose bowl by Her Majesty.(I had £50 to win at 7/1)

Both ended up with a rating of 100+ Not bad for horses which cost a mere £3,000 & £4,000 each as unraced 3 yo's.

Well one good thing (Pun Intended) came out of the thread, I managed to touch base with one member who has an interest. :thumbs:

Love the races Martin a great day out only really got involved in ownership in the last 5 years with a few friends phil kirby comes fishing with myself phil has a brand new yard at catterick a very nice setup our latest horse is Mr Carbonator one of the lads claimed him for not of money and he has turned out a belter what we love about him is genuine he is trys his heart out every time he runs when phil got him right last year he won 3 out of 4 runs that was backend of last winter and into the new year he has had his well earned rest and is now back in training we are hoping he has improved with his time off he won twice a Southwell and once at Wolverhampton we now want a win on the grass and one of the days he won at Southwell alan owns him with myself and another coupe of friends had another runner which he owns and phil trains they both travelled down together in the same box and both won same owner having 2 winners at the same meeting what a day that was and at nice prices I will let you know Martin when he is having a go 🐎🐎🐎.
