I will never forgive him for the QL 🙄

Spectrum was ok i bought the 16k version and the next month the upgrade to 48k heady times the 8bit days ,got one in the loft but its not worth playing with although i did finish manic miner and attic attack!

I remember if you inputted  any swear word in Valhalla Loki marched on and hit you with his sword lol

It wasnt the machine as such it was the hype and lack of support from 3rd parties ,the original spectrum and v2 and v3 had some great addons i first went 'online ' in 83 or 84 but its was so sloooooooooow and not a lot to see .

The joy of getting a kempston interface  lol
