Yes, I've come to the conclusion that Cod only argues against a "straw-man" version of what he thinks motivated those on the pro-Brexit side.

He never acknowledges or engages with what actually motivated people to leave the EU, either based on the post voting polling or what people here are telling him. For him, it's all about the economy and ease of travel, and yet, neither of those issues were even on the radar for leave voters.

The fact that he is so consistently terrible at arguing for what motivated him to vote to remain is absolutely hysterical - it's why I keep poking him, to see what he'll do next.
