this whole topic made me realise that we know virtually nothing about each other's personal lives, unless we meet in 'real life', which means we tend not to judge people as quickly as if we'd met them in person. If Emma wants to talk about her own life, I can't deny that I wouldn't look in and find it interesting, Elton

 

Other people asked me to post some info when they sent me private messges too, and so I have, simple as that. My 'sexuailty' hasn't nor will it be part of it, at least know what you are complaining about. I didn't raise this in the first place. You are not being forced to read it, so don't. There are lots of threads in which I and perhaps others have little or no interest, that's ok, most grown ups are capable of accepting everything isn't going to be about and for them, so we simply don't bother contributing, an NOT go sticking a neb in making selfish and unhelpful comments.

Den, with respect Participation is hardly compulsary.

 

With some of the taut feelings and spleen vented over the last while, why not let poeple who dont know somthing about a subject learn a bit off of some one who does! without any vitriolic remarks.

Chesters Transexuality is a very complex set of issues. Before anyone can go for Gender re-alignment surgery there is one hell of a process they have to go through with a great deal of psychological assessment and treatment at the Maudsley Hospital in London long before re-alignment surgery is considered.

 

I have been involved at the beginning of the process with a couple of my patients before supporting a referral to the gender realignment team.

 

The procedures that are required can take years to complete and along with the hormone treatments that are required are liable to be life shortening by a considerable margin as well as being very painful.

Contrary to popular myth its not just a matter of having your penis converted that is only a minor part of the processes that may have to be gone through.

 

I will declare that I have a bit of a special interest in all of this as I was the Chairman of the Blackpool Lesbian and Gay switchboard and I am a trainer on Lesbian and Gay issues a I will not tolerate homophobia

my point was "why" nothing changes they are still who they are born as if you actually read my post i was asking why go to all the bother you can be an unhappy bloke just as you can be an unhappy bloke pretending to be a girl.

 

i have just installed tomtom7 on a navigo sat nav ,it look like a tomtom when its running ,it works like a tomtom but its still a navigo ,it will never be a tomtom ,it was born a navigo and despite my fiddling with its bits it will die a navigo
