Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

I thought Barry had some good points and put them across eloquently enough. I'd rather hear them than not. Thanks, Barry.

The BBC thing was a trial - now removed :)

The whole thing about a community, though, is that it is just that - a community. That is what we are striving for. We have moderators who try to be fairly hands-off. The moment they start wading into every thread, we'll just have a miserable dictatorship.

As for disruptive and out-of-order posts, I'll say this again - please use the 'report' facility. This so rarely gets used.

i would too if i knew what it meant.

I don't know either and I have Googled it, I fear we will never know unless the author replies, but since his last post before this as almost 12 months ago we could be in for a bit of a wait.

However it might be a bit of fun while we wait to see who on here best fits Mr Knellors description. We have the following categories: i fear I am (A) Who do you think YOU are? if anyone thinks they are a (D) or thinks that anyone else maybe then they MUST give their reasons,

I have assumed that (D) is for those members that wear spectacles and have placed Steve Burke in that category merely as a stop gap measure. The other categories I have also place a member which of course cannot be altered, but can be added to further lists, so Chesters could be a fa@-wit as well as being a Bigot, and so on.

in an effort to improve myself without bias i would consider myself all the above ,ofcourse if you disagree then i will promise to strive harder in the future ,hopefully in further add on ratings i can top those as well

thinking about it though a few new step could be added :

NOT READING THE POST CORRECTLY Rabbit

AVOIDING ANSWERING A DIRECT QUESTION ABOUT A REPLY THEY MADE TO A POST Rabbit

SELECTIVE QUOTING Rabbit

BLINKERED RESPONDING ??

PICKING ON "HOT" WORDS BUT IGNORING THEIR CONTEXT ??? (fair few names here)

as you see i have some work to do :D

the biggest difference is i admit i'm a bigot (nothing wrong with bigotry) hopefully i can admit more in the future when colour prejudice ,racial prejudice and anti government sleaze go on the list :P

its a pity the old deleted threads cant be re erected just to see those who "violently" (i use that word genuinely) put down ,called names and reported posts have now strangely taken another stance when reality emerges to the fore ,the iraq war one was one in particular amongst many saddly gone.

perhaps the "report post" should be based on criminal liability (to Elton or AN) rather than personal greviences or differing opinions and ofcourse a post revealing something potentially harmful to the poster them selves (address or map of their location etc) i was perhaps hasty in the last one i reported (the scottish loch one) but i did hopefully make amends by putting in another more revealing link but it was done in earnest to protect members from a "possible" scam .any other reporting i have done (its only a couple) certainly wasn't because they differed from my point of view as some do.if the "report post" is used because it gets a bit personal so long as its not a direct bit of slander (in the sense of law) then it should be ignored :

1) its amusing to those not being personal

2) its just words (your taught very young they cannot hurt you unless its in the last sentence above)

3) your grown ups and can take it on the chin or bite your lip and ignore it knowing it will disapear down the list if you dont bite on it :D

I posted up my first ever Trout on the fly not one reply

Well, I saw the pics, three rainbows, but didn't comment. Didn't pick up they were your first fish on fly - so a belated well done and welcome to the ranks of fly-fishers.

The next stage is to get out there on a river and catch a brownie on fly, then wade the surf and/or go rock-hopping to get a bass on fly.

...and on your next trip to the States, target permit, bonefish, snook and tarpon on fly.

AN benefits from decent illustrated fishing reports - and a bit of positive feedback from others - particularly if the reports are from beginners.

In the vernacular, the nearest is "Pinheaded"

Can't think of anyone that fits that - certainly not Steve.

I can think of another website over here that does just that. I stopped posting fishing reports there after Big Brother came down hard on everyone one day after several members questioned the validity of an advertisment masquerading as a fishing report. Every other word in that "report" was a brand name, and yet it was defended by the mod who then lectured us on forum behavior and closed the thread. Seig Heil!

I think the OP meant "microcephalic", but spelling and/or medical terminology are obviously not his strong points. It does indeed mean "small-headed", but usually in the context of what used to be charmingly called "congenital idiocy".
