Hello everyone.

 

MrWiggly is currently in hospital under observation following a rather severe operation on his right hip and leg.

 

He has been commenting on increasing pain for the last 18 months, and has spent the last 2 months or so in a wheelchair.

 

What should have been a normal hip replacement operation has been complicated by four bolts that were inserted into his right femur following an accident some years ago.

 

The six hour operation was performed nine days ago, and he is now in an isolation room under observation for progress and infection risk. The specialists say the, with luck, he may be out in 10 days or so.

 

He is unfortunately not allowed a mobile phone or the use of a laptop whilst he is in there.

 

He has prepared for me several sheets of instructions on how to get the new competition started, and how to contact the judge for the competition that has just closed. With a bit of luck I will be able to sort it out, and I hope that you will forgive any blunders I may make.

 

He sends his greetings and salutations to you all, and his apologies for his declining input and contributions to the Photoforum in recent times. I know that he cannot wait to be out of there and back to his beloved photography and fishing !!

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

 

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

Blimey! Tell him not to worry about us and to make sure his health is his 100% priority, please, Susan.

 

The thoughts of all of us here are with him and we wish him a speedy recovery.

 

P.S. Tell him the weather's been rubbish for photos, anyway. He'll understand :D

Do tell him he shoulda scheduled the op to allow for recovery BEFORE the start of the new fishing season though.

If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..
