Another one bites the dust

If I feel sick I go to the bathroom and vomit in the toilet...not on the street out of a window....not so far to fall, and much more polite.

Eating wild caught fish is good for my health, reduces food miles and keeps me fit trying to catch them........it's my choice to do it, not yours to stop me!

Youth + alcohol + poorly designed holiday accommodation all to often = tragedy.

I don't really think that the "gravity is "only a theory"" jibe adds anything worth adding.

Personally, I save that sort of comment for the science denying fundies.

One of Port Adelaides players died in similar circumstances at the weekend. Such a waste.

Education is the key.

If you want to take drugs or drink stay off the window.

I wonder if he didn't deliberately go to the window to vomit so as to shower those below....bit like what I did as a child with water bombs at my local multi storey car park... :P:P

Can we just remind ourselves that this was someones son or brother.

There but for the grace of whoever goes just about every family in the UK.

I'd bet that when his Mum said goodbye to him she didn't expect it to be for the last time.

I used to get drunk when I was his age. I sometimes did things that showed poor judgement.

I survived.

Lucky me.

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

I don't agree with the "poorly Designed" bit...Hotel and apartment owners in these areas have for some years increased the balcony railing heights to above the EU safety level. Some of them have announced that they want to enclose the balconies completely with steel, but have been stopped by fire regulations. Others have tried to only put groups of young British in "low" floors.....At the end of the day though, if someone wants to climb over to get to their friends room, for instance, there is not a lot the hotel chains can do about it. The responsibility lies squarely with the person in the room.

Fair enough. It has admittedly been many years since I used a package holiday type operation so my comments may be somewhat out of date.

There is still seemingly however a tendency to build apartments with balconies in "I can make that" distance of the complex's pool.
