Apache:

Killing Floor: A Jack Reacher Novel by Lee Child. They are brilliant books.

Funny you should mention that one - I read it just last week. The whole series are very good.

Bought the Shooting Times today.

I read Kenzie the Wild Goose Man twice about 30 years ago.

I read a couple of story books when still at school in the 50s and 60s but can't remember anything since.

Apart from fishing books I've just re-read an Asimov book of essays on the history of science. What a remarkably versatile author!

Recent fiction has included Jean M. Auel's long awaited new book in the Earth's Children series called "The Shelters of Stone". This continues the story of the Stone Age heroine, Ayla.

Me and most of my family have read the Earths children series. The shelters of stone is a massive let down compared to the others.

We waited for over 5 years for this book and it goes on and on about the other books in the series.

There is another book due in approx three years I belive.

I have just finished "Fluke" but cant remember the author.

I have just started "The last of the raiders" by Douglas Reeman.
