Nice shots Snatcher, particularly like the last shot there's a great feel for the expanse of the bay.

Expect to see some beautifully framed shots soon!

Will try my best Peter  I am just waiting for perfect visability for the shot I want. It occurs a few times a year. The shot I am after is a view of the Lake District from our caravan park on the Mull of Galloway. The distance is about 75-80 miles!!!!!!! Two years ago when the vis was mint actually counted 12 peaks and you could see snow on some of them  Bring it on

Was on a charter fishing boat out of Seahouses,Northumberland today and here are a couple of shots from the boat

Hi Den,

That looks like The Emperor Dragonfly and i must say that first shot is absolutely fantastic.

Thanks for posting.

Fishing seems to be my favorite form of loafing.

I know the joy of fishes in the river through my own joy, as I go walking along the same river.

What do you think if the float does not dip, try again I think.

I was a bit annoyed with myself last week, didn't take the Nikon due to weather and other reasons.

Had reed warblers posing all day long; what I am certain was a woodlark perched a few yards away, and probably the only chance I will get to shoot a longtailed tit which sat still for a few seconds.

Dragonfly was taken with my little old Olympus :) but as the screen is not to bright I got too close when the dragonfly was on my fingers.....ah well, such is life :)
