Sorry chaps, can't go now

Went out this morning to get a licence, necessary tackle (plus plenty that just looked good) and bait. Started to replace the line on one of my reels then got a phone call, can I attend a job interview tomorrow between 10 and 2? :(

I hope you all enjoy the day out, and Newt & Jan, I hope you continue to enjoy the rest of your holiday.

Newt, Jan..................when we go to Amble i've got this strange feeling i may need a break around the area of PONTEFRACT, now if anyone who wanted to meet you but hasn't been able to so far they could sorta turn up at say.....J33 of the M62 and say Hi....of course if they do there's nothing i can do about it

Now i know a couple of people in that area have got my mobile number and should be able to contact me if they happen to be anywhere near to get a rough ETA for us at J33....................;)

Sorry to hear about the wash out Jan, but don't you realise that the rain won't stop until the day you return to the States?

I'm going to call our water company and suggest that the next time we have a drought in the UK they give the pair of you a free holiday. Bound to work, whether or not you do a rain dance!

Jan...the two people i was thinking about were both unable to get down to Fritton and i'm pretty sure it would be worth the shortish drive from "ull" for the one guy and as for the other..well from what i can make out he's still in the honeymoon period ;)
