Hiya,

Well things are moving forward, though not with the main job. The we are still waiting on parts for the gearboxes but all is not lost with plenty of jobs that can be done while we are waiting.

Since the engines are now on the deck

One of the jobs was to change this

Into this

We also got round to sanding down the Hull, well Nick sort of in between eating

(grr wont show the pic :( )

and having a nap under the boat

still it was worth it when we started painting with the epoxy

and with the first coat of the blue epoxy

Now fingers crossed this weekend coming we will get the first coats sanded and any marks filled in before applying the next 4 coats, the rewiring of the engine bays will be complete ready for the engines & gearboxes when they return. We should also manage to get new engine hatch covers made also and the wood work all stained and oiled.

Hiya,

dan.. I'll try and find the original pics of the boat when we first started it 8 years ago :) since then it's been a work in progress and probably will be for ever more :)

As for the waterline... I cheated and measured down from the deck at key points.. the inner hulls waterline was the fun part :)

dave.. yup it went up .. had to get the mooring checked this year.. 230 quid extra :(

Please Mr Unapproachable,

can I come up an`mess up the cockpit!! I`ve got a box of junk to spread around the wheelhouse as well

I`ve had a new 20lb skate rod made for me by John. Though I think an Abu 5500 with 20lb whiplash is a tad over the top.

We don`t use J`s anymore!!
