Perhaps it's just me but UKIP seem to be almost exclusively manned by men and women sporting six shooters permanently aimed at their metatarsals

UKIP have to do one thing and get rid of Ferage because he is a mindless idiot and until they do they will always be in the spotlight. I have listened to some of the ministers and they do have a brain in their head and i believe are not racialist in any way or form and if they can get this stigma off their back someone would make a much better leader. They are weaning out the bigots bit by bit and may well mellow in time.

Does it matter about farage ? Unless he has a majority in parliament (hitches up with it like the libdems)he is powerless ,in councils perhaps

Not just UKIP by any stretch of the imagination.
We've also seen candidates from other parties step down:

Hanna Toms - Labour.

 

Jason Zadrozny - Liberal Democrat.

 

Afzal Amin - Conservative.

 

We don't try to draw wider conclusions about the parties that these people represent, based on their individual character flaws?

It would be illogical to do so, their respective parties have forced these people to step down because they DON'T represent the party.

Why then is it considered acceptable (by some) to try to smear UKIP with the views or actions of people that the party has rejected?
