Thanks Nick. I thought that may be the case as it sounds very unusual for them to be around at this time of year.

Lets hope the weather is a bit kinder than last year at this time...fond memories of being blow down the mull despite borrowing a 12 kg bruce off Ian and even the catchalot was drifting on occasions. :wallbash:

When do you and Spike set off for LA then Ian? Lets hope you both have a good skate jaunt

Hi John

I travel up early Saturday morning so I can get the first corran Ferry. I travel early to avoid traffic on the Lomond road which is a nightmare for towing through the day. Usually have to change my underpants after it.

Hi John

I'll be kicking around at the side of the Pier when you arrive Ian as I have a leaky stern gear to fix :)

Its getting close now Norrie. Is the plan still for me to get to yours 11ish on the Friday morning? will need a couple of directions to find your manor. What bait should I bring up? squid/sandeel/mackeral??

Good to hear from you again FastD. Now make sure you bring a bung for the boat !!!! although that 6oz lead did us out fishing that day. Was that when I caught that enormous cod?? :bigemo_harabe_net-163::bigemo_harabe_net-163:
