This thread is amazing! Weve gone 31 pages, covered several controversal subjects and been able to avoid it becoming an anti Eastern European (without a rod licence) livebaitng thread!!!!

Same as the "pure" fishng threads what I like most about this forum is that people from varying experiences contrbute. This certainy gives different veiwpoints and makes you think. I for one have altered my veiws a bit on the hunting issue and indeed made me think a bit about my own thoughts on the issue of fishing ie to kll or not to,is it right etc etc.

Normally when people offer you opinions/information on a subject you are unfamiliar with its hard to know whether you should believe them, value their opinion or even be able to understand the message they are trying to put over. After the years Ive been on here and the amount of stuff Ive read from people on subjects that I in general do know a lot about its helped me be able to "evaluate" their opinions on these grey areas.

It also reminded me of something Gerry (Argyle) once said to me on the river bank.He said that often people that I found irritating/controversial or simply just disagreed/argued with initially would often become the people I eventually respected/liked/found the most interesting once I read more from them/got to know them. Something that is hard to do in real life as you often simply ignore/dont associate with people that you initially dont like.

And thats my "non indicative opinion"!

Getting back onto the subject of hunting, unless someone can give me an answer regarding what respect you should show a rat just about to bite off yer bits. :D

Just seen a progamme where foxes where introduced to Australia approximatly one hundred years ago on the whim of ex brits who missed foxhunting, they have managed to colonise perfectly and are part of the demise of over fifty native specis. Just wondering also how much should you or your god should show the fox. :g:

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Me too, I'd also like to thank everyone else who has participated.

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

Dont think we can really blame the Fox,God or anything other than the stupidty/arrogance of the MEN who introduced them for thier own selfish reasons. More amazing though is that modern day man hasnt learned from it!

All in all Australia got a pretty raw deal from the Empire buiding ancestors of ours.

The thread was good. Are we still going to continue it, with the 'untin stuff, now that the religious bit has been moved?

The natives of lots of places suffered from the influences of European expansion. Including having thier own perfectly servicable religions/spiritualities interfered with and sometimes deconstructed.
