The 70ss are long gone move on just how the hell can you expect to be paid the same as management where do you get that rubbish from good management with a good workforce make a good team you sound just like some greedy employer who would like to pay there workers 10 bob and a conker have you ever thought company's move abroad to use cheap labour many companies moved to China why because they pay there workers hook all who said j hate the torys you are completely wrong again I just want a fair society for rich and poor you really are one Chesters i hope you weren't one of these that would creep in the back door or tell tales to the management at the end of it when it's your turn to go down the road you go just like everybody else you are just a number but some seem to forget till the day comes whether you are drapped in a blue or red it all doesn't matter .

In the unions eyes the 70's never went away.

You will never get a fair society you are living in cookoo land ,companies went to china because the workers can be exploited ,ours have priced themselves out of a job ,soon china will price itself out of the market as workers demand better conditions and pay and inflations spirals to counter it .

Its exactly what happened here ,first you just had workers that could be exploited ,then the unions came about and demanded better conditions and higher pay ,profit went down prices went up to counter the drop in profit ,employees were sacked to save wage bills the company became uncompetitive and either closed (all the workers lost their jobs) or went abroad (all workers lost their jobs) the cause? Unions .the clues are there

Was party to union shenanigans it wasnt anything to do with helping their members it was all proving they have power and sticking two fingers up to the management ,nothing changed except the vile bob crowe has finally left his council house ,hopefully someone that deserves it gets it

I didnt choose to bevin sogat i was forced to join sogat luckily closed shop has gone hopefully the unions will go the same way ,i left because i was sick and tired of being told you cannot or are not allowed to do your job properly ,i left with the mark of a blue collar FOC's teeth on my fist ,i cant do that .just fricking watch me

Union crazines at its best as i was white collar and was the only male on a floor i had to be an FOC over myself ,i had to pay me unions dues then act as an FOC and except them ,i could put myself on strike for any reason i dreampt up ,strangely the two floors of blue collars below 'owned 'the stairs so they could stop non striking white collar workers getting to work even though technically they had no power over them .unions are workers worst enemies

Back in the 70's I worked for 3 months as an Occupational Health nurse at Ford Motors in Dagenham.

I was on a night shift one night when the bulb in my desk light blew. I found a replacement in a cupboard and changed it. I mentioned it to one of the maintenance guys so that he could get a replacement bulb, he told a shop steward and we were within a minute o two of having 3000 men out in the street.

Luckily my obvious ignorance and a lot of apologising allowed them to overlook the crime "this time"

On another occasion I got an emergency call to see to someone who had been injured in one of the locker rooms. I went to help and while I was actually treating him a shop steward came up and asked me what I was doing there. I think I might have made a sarcastic comment.

It seems that locker rooms were out of bounds to management and I was considered to be management.

Once again we were close to having the entire works closed because of my breach of union rules in not getting a shop stewards permission before entering.

This type of thing was commonplace at that time.

BTW, Ford no longer have a factory in Dagenham. Wonder why that might be?

E u tax payers money was used by the e u to relocate ford manufacturing to turkey.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

So the EU relocated the factory?

Did they tell Ford?

Ford knew mate, they didn't bother to tell the workers,

https://rtuc.wordpress.com/2012/10/31/ford-must-be-a-wake-up-call-for-government/

bit more here for you to learn and understand:

The £80m EU loan to ramp up production of Transit vans in Turkey was signed off just months before Ford’s devastating Southampton announcement.

The loan from the European Union’s bank, was agreed in June as part of a billion dollar investment plan – about £600m – for Ford’s sprawling 395-acre site in Kocaeli which is taking over production of Transits from Southampton.

The government knew about the plan put in place to take the jobs at Ford away from Southampton and move them to Turkey.

Workers were never consulted over the details.

Chancellor George Osborne is one of the EU bank’s governors.
