So no eggs contain salmonella?

She made an observation there could be salmonella in eggs ,the egg industry nearly bankrupted themselves allowing it to be there in enough quantity to get noticed ,typical big business making money over client safety

Will you be telling us VW (and probably the rest) dont fiddle emissions ?

And which paper was it reported ? If that's the case poor edwina she got what poor Margaret got the bullet from her own party once they thought she was a liability just who would do that .

I don't think you realise just how difficult it is to spot and Salmonella in chickens or how difficult it is to eradicate. Treat ever bit of raw fresh chicken as if it were riddled with Salmonella or Campylobacter

Yes Edwina Currie was right about Salmonella in eggs. Salmonella can easily go endemic in poultry and it won't do the chickens any harm at all. I've never been a lover of raw eggs (anybody that can eat one to cure a hangover does not understand the concept of "hangover" IMO) but I would be really reticent about making home made mayonnaise.

Child poverty is a disgrace in this country, America too. Two of the worlds biggest economies yet we CHOOSE have people living in the streets, I met a chap today, he has (if he is telling me the truth) terminal bowel cancer, three to 6 months to live but lives on the street bacause he was the witness to a murder and would not be safe in any of the local hostels.

most gutter press tabloids and by that I mean the like of the sun, mirror, mail, star etc are bog paper only worth wiping your arse on. I don't generally read papers and get the news from various online sources on all sides of the political spectrum.
