First, self determination should be a powerful motivator. I also, am ashamed of your comparison of the UK with southern EUROPE.

The right of peoples to self-determination is a cardinal principle in modern international law. It states that peoples, based on respect for the principle of equal rights and fair equality of opportunity, have the right to freely choose their sovereignty and international political status with no interference.

The principle does not state how the decision is to be made nor what the outcome should be, whether it be independence, federation, protection, some form of autonomy, or full assimilation. At no time in modern history have those nations had or shown any interest in freely choosing destiny. THE RIGHTS OF PEOPLE IS A BRITISH CONCEPT

Phone phone phone ,i hope you are not going to mention the Magna Carta ,it had nothing to do with "the people" it was a short lived contract trying to restrict the power of the monarch over the lords (as in chaps in castles not the house of lords) the "people" had no rights most were slaves ,bonded villeins and some free men with a few rights at the discretion of who ever land they were standing on.

Gt Britain wasnt formed until 1707 so the Magna Carter had no influence in Scotland as we know it and the UK didnt appear to 1801.

The term Britain is England Wales and Scotland the UK includes Northern Ireland hence we say ' great Britain or Great Britain AND Northern Ireland or the UK

For some strange reason England is rarely mentioned and it was only formed in 927 ( not clock time year time!) But strangely Britania existed before Britain existed the Romans and perhaps the Greeks knew 'england' as Britania .school over

PS we only have the rights people in power give us ,they should be earned but appear to be given to others before the ethnics and they can be easily removed from the ethnics but rarely anyone else!

Whilst you can get a british passport no-one is born in britain your born in one of the counties (perhaps a city?)  within britain (and northern ireland) i am english but it doesnt say it on my birth certificate it states my registration office and where it is ,more a bit of equiptment rather than person my parents sold me to the state the second i got my birth certificate in return for not going to prison there is no choice but to get your child given a number despite what "the prisoner" said lol

 

Hmm thought ? Do people born after we entered the EU belong to brussels? Is there a round starry emblem instead of the crested one?

My kids were born after we joined but i cannot remember looking !?!

As you can see with brexit ,we had sovereignty we gave it to brussels and other foreigners  now we are trying to get it back from brussels and hopefully claw some back from the rest of the foreigners undoing all the restrictive laws we agreed to such as the human rights laws and nato etc no-one should have power to dictate what others can or cannot do only those WE choose to and with great reluctance!

Taking back control  ****s nobody can see the trade deals agreed for 5 years , one way of hiding the truth from us all that brexit isn’t the Golden Fleece after all ,yes we have a government rotten to the core .Johnson flapping to get a trade before trump gets the boot and  that Russian report which Johnson tried to block  sorry pal it’s here and this government have failed the British people with security and they say there was no  interference from Russia in brexit referendum

Oh it’s still the fault of the EU it was the fault Of the EU when we were in the EU and now it’s the EU fault when we have left the EU , but  we have taken back control so that must be an almighty lie then it just better this brexit **** .
