I have to agree 100% with the above, it is almost beyond belief that people who would like to be treated as sensible adults could sink into a cauldron of abusive stupidity over the pros and cons of pilchard oil, the mind boggles.

what a load of fuss over something as trivial as oil,i had the same kind of fuss and whining when me and my buddy started taking matches apart using our special blend of 5 different oils,we even resorted to giving 20 free samples away to people fishing the same matches,did it help them NO, some people can fish and others cant ,it is as simple as that.
