look at the images we see

charity is BIG business it gets charities very rich and cars and suits for the countries leaders it does bugger all for population bar the troupe of professional starvers that do the money raising circuit

 

 

its the simplistic brains that put up the cash if a trillion aint going to fix it nothing will all the time the handouts are there it becomes a substitute method of work

Why not cut off all aid to these countries, then no money could disappear into Swiss bank accounts.

It would then be up to the population to rise up and overthrow their leaders.

At what point do we have to say, "its nothing to do with us".

 

Before the usual suspects leap all over me, I have given generously of my money and time to help people overseas less well off than me.

However, I made the decision about the time that Live Aid and Band Aid started up to stop doing this, as I saw the complete waste of the huge sums of money raised by these events and the lack of a lasting solution.

Personal attacks (or "argumentum ad hominem" as Cory would no doubt put it) are pretty much the preserve of those without the itelect or evidence to put forward a valid opinion or counter argument.

Where they're employed by someone who clearly does have the mental horsepower to put forward an alternative viewpoint, it just detracts from what they have to say.

Out argue me and you may or may not change my mind, but even if I still don't agree with you, I will at least respect your position.

Abuse me and not only will I completely discount everything you say, I'll probably entrench my views even more.

i'm not against helping anyone but the west has very stringent rules when handing out IMF money (all designed to impoverish further the recipient)

and sending over hundreds of tons of food merely puts those that produce it in "africa" out of business ,this is probably also a design feature ensuring charities can rake in money in the future .if aid worked it would put the charity out of business which isnt good for business.

 

Aid IMHO should be provided as a result of improving conditions not as a substitute for improvement.

 

the people set up a commitee and tell the agencies what they need ,those items are given directly to that committee ,if the items disappear no further funds are given.if you leave the decision up to the provider its pointless the needy get clothes when their hungry or tents that fall apart in the sun because the polymers that make it up fall apart under uv (a tent will last two years in britain just a few months in a sunnier clime canvas is better but the aid agencies dont have a clue they just buy the crap for pennies mark its a top dollar tent in the accounts and dont give a fook after its been photographed in the field for future fund raising ofcourse)

a village or town can have a committee most have already ,the people themselves then ensure the committee does its job ,very simplistic yes certainly but its how tribalism worked and works fine still.

keeping the aid away from the countries leaders and their cronies will help most of it get to where it should ,war will immediately end all aid ,what was allocated to the warring country will be used to feed the refugees from the warring countries ,.pointless pumping in billions if its turned into ak47's and nice suits for the already wealthy

 

each country can have a set of inspectors (similar to nuke inspectors) who see if improvement has happened ,if it has the following year more aid is given ,if not the "committee " has to be replaced or funds cease.

you wont stop greed and corruption its worldwide but you can regulate it.

it will be the white/ black scenario again but with the blacks in the driving seat ,they do well the whities fork out more but just keep charities and vested interests and big business well away or not bother

heres the population of just south africa over the last 50 years ,our $1 trillion has not helped curb their population at all probably as its now a welcome handout !natures way of weeding out the sick and ill has made little impact as the population is artificially fed and medically cared for

china had a rather draconian population control (although its less respected in the countryside) why not africans biting the bullet and admitting half the problem is unrestricted breeding.

 

even education is a two edged sword ,girls especially if uneducated simply shrug and know their future ,educate them and then they realise just how much of a poxy future they have in store .they are still girls in a world where boys are first animals second and girls if they are lucky 3rd.those educated girls chatting away in latin to each other water bowl on head and sprog on their tit are still girls their education a total waste of time (if they are lucky Madonna may take a sprog or two)

 

so feed them and off they go and squeeze out another kid before the maize sack is empty or use contraception and have a fuller grain sack its up to them but its obvious they know another grain sack like a bus will be along shortly
