Whitley Bay,Tyne and Wear. Its okish loads of pubs/chinks/indians/ities/kebabs/pizza places/larger louts etc

My daughter lives in Thames Ditton (just over the Thames from Hampton Court) now that is really nice and has a few good boozers which is very important and one,The Red Lion, even has a dart board which is extremely important

I have a static caravan in Drummore,Mull of Galloway and it is "Gods Country" Pub on the site which does meals and carry outs. Two pubs in the village of Drummore 5 mins walk away. Good fishing on the doorstep. Marvellous views from the soth end of the Mull. I kid you not on a clear day from the south end of the Mull you can see the about 10peaks in the Lake District about 70 miles away, isle of Man about 25 miles away and Ireland about 25 miles away.

When I win the lottery guess where I am headed!!!

:D:):D:rolleyes: Don't think you could go too far wrong with the nicer parts of Essex. I live five miles from Chelmsford. Right beside the common/woods. Worst thing that has happened in thirty odd years was the other day when someone broke my "for sale" sign down. Generally pretty quiet all round though.

My part of Liverpool is great as long as you avoid the shootings and the drug addicts' haunts.

As a city it has a whole lot going for it - especially not being Manchester or Birmingham.

This is a signature, there are many signatures like it but this one is mine

We have our share of the less intellectually gifted in the area, but we also have the sea/beach one mile south and the New Forest one mile North, the rivers Avon and Stour (the real ones) are 5 miles West.

Great area for fishing and birdwatching.

>>>Thinks: Must remember to try both sometime soon.
