I am a machinist by trade but i am currently working as a service enginer on large industrial , gas and process compressors.

The best part of the job is the fulltime use of a new transit van which can carry almost all my fishing gear at once.Oh and it comes with free diesel as well which is great for fishing trips :D:D

Mechatronics Engineer in manufacturing co.

Keeping all the kit running and building special purpose machinery plus developing 'remote control' of IT equipment enclosures for our customers.

I'm also a partner in a Woodland Burial Ground based near Andover, My sales pitch is 'people are dying to get in there';)

Jealousy: totally irrational anger directed at people who happen to be richer, prettier, thinner, cleverer and more successful than you are.

Spent most of my working life in the Tyre/Battery/Exhaust business. Luckily found someone who wanted a Tyre/Battery/Exhaust business and snatched his hand off.

Spent a few years working for Cambridge University as a poorly paid but overworked Messenger and finally had 3 years as a College Porter at St. Catharine's, best job I ever had!!

Retired now and sadly not fishing as much as I should be.

International Procurement Projects Manager.

Just started on Monday but its the sort of work I have done most of my career.

Buying at London Underground is but a fading memory.

I'm a Civil Engineer currently working on a major new road in Ireland. I specialise in large structures.

I was technical manager for a group of companies for 10 years and worked in the housing supply industry for a previous 15 years. I still do freelance housing design to keep my skills up to date.

I cant wait to get back to Scotland in 2007 and devote a lot more time to my first love, Ferox fishing. Occasional weekend this year is all I'm going to manage Boo Hoo, Sob Snif

Ferox are more than Mythical. www.darkmileferox.co.uk

Mechanical fitter for a very well known construction machinery manufacturer. I work in the research and developement department, but for how much longer I have no idea as we seem to be making a loss all the time, so they may close the department down or slim it down to just a skeleton staffing level................. then I just don't know. But I'm time served and have a class 1 l.g.v. licence to fall back on if I have to.

Started as an engineering trainee. Then when they discovered I could scarcely change a plug switched to computer programming and systems analysis (in the steam days), then went to business school and had a crack at group planning and merchant banking, then became an accountant, tried to start my own training business and failed, worked for a bit for a firm of management consultants, then turned my collar round.

When I left uni I did a personality test which said I wasn't very good at sticking with things! Pretty accurate for the first 15 years of my working life, though I've been in the vicar business now for more than 20 years so I suppose you could say I've settled down.
