Unless Paul has a relative, friend, friend of a relative, relative of a friend, or friend of a friend, that works at number 10, and overheard it, then this might be the source. (Albeit with a slightly different spin).

A former cabinet minister who advocates closer ties to the EU told the BBC that they had urged the prime minister to consider sacking Brexiteers who refuse to sign up.

What makes you believe that jobs in the UK won't be lost to other, cheaper, EU countries. Even after you have left.

Once you leave you are in direct competition with every other country in Europe.

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

All,

Gozzer.

A pretty long BBC article to say what I said several posts ago in one sentence. "Get on with it - no one can predict covering all the bases (contingencies). Now it appears whatever happens will happen in the midst of a world "trade war" thanks to our politics."

He has a point Gozzer, just imagine what would happen locally if Ford moved its Transit production line to another Country like Turkey.

Phone, the problem is, the media are spouting off warnings of doom and gloom with no real substance except ‘might happens’, look at the news once again today, Airbus shouting its French mouth off about the customs union yet again.

Nothing makes me believe it Dave, I didn't say I did believe it. In my earlier post I pointed out that whoever is making a statement puts their own spin on it. So Pauls post saying this, or that, is going to happen, is just reporting a story clouded by someones bias. All the reports of possible disasters allegedly caused by Brexit, could still happen regardless of Brexit, but that isn't included in the report because it doesn't show Brexit as the 'root of all evil', as intended. The same does happen, to a lesser extent, by some in the leave camp.

I'm just trying to show a little bit of balance, to counteract the " we're all doomed" posts that Paul is so fond of.

I know I shouldn't bother even trying, but sometimes it gets the better of me, a bit sad I know.

He will ignore it just like the earlier references because it differs from his 'truth'

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies!

Walking out of a meeting with he inner circle and announcing that a deal has been done is the least of May's worries.

There were 26 people in that room in addition to May.

There are a further 289 Conservative MPs in parliament.
