Only a fool pays full price for anything ,you buy it when its cheap and use it when its expensive ,as i said the excuses will be there but just who in the EU grows tea?

The pound is great for us selling stuff i would presume you dont like us exporting things ,the EU was doing its damned best to stop us exporting ,times are changing grow a spine and get on with it

It doesnt take into consideration the actual cost in 1973 to now ,i know a reel bought at 19/6 was the iquivilent of 40 quid today ,for 40 quid today you can get far better reels or several cheap ones compared.

My dads car in the 60's never moved the cost of petrol was unbelievably high ,most of the cars in the street never moved if ofcourse you can afford one nowadays you can get a banger for a weeks beer money

Funny you should have said that Barry we were actually considering moving to Spain but now with brexit on the horizon it has completely changed all that what will happen after brexit setting up business in Spain etc is anybody's business but living in the uk through the winter dark mornings and dark nights freezing your nuts off especially in the northeast of the uk is getting harder every year .

 

My sister goes to the Costa Blanca every winter for 6 months j used to laugh at one of the skippers who did this years ago sillly me .

south coast skippers go a bit further, I know 3 that have gone to Thailand, two permanent and one for the winter months and he even has a four double bed house rental out there. must be the birds that are ever present out, making them act young again.
