I don't care how much anything goes up, just so long as we get out of the EU, and I very much doubt that I'm the only person with those sentiments.

It's only money, you can't take it with you, spend it and make Britain Great again instead of being a satellite of the federation of corruption, waste and ridiculous ideas.

Make Britain great again just when exactly was that !!! The 60 ss when nobody had nothing when it was 1 car to a street or the 1920ss when we had workhouses it's a delusion your thinking about you want to take us back years the madman over water keeps shouting the same message he is now rated as most unpopular president the us has ever seen .

You do sound like your rather dripping with cash just what about those who ain't who struggle to make ends meet and it's those who are going pay heavily for Brexit they are ones I feel sorry for financially brexit is a disaster for Britain .

As long as the poxy unions dont get more power i will tough it out however bad it gets.

Its time you stowed your dummies and toys at the moment its F the EU we're sick of you holding the reigns and propping up failed countries with our money

Once we are out lets see germany and france bail them out

I hope you're not living on a fixed income matey.

Learn some history. Great Britain will always be Great as long as both Scotland and England retain the same monarch.

I'm 57 and I don't ever remember it being that fecking great here.

On second thoughts I hope you ARE living from a fixed income.

I'm comfortable as far as cash goes thank you, that comes from a combination of a long life of hard work and not wasting it on foreign holidays, not buying a new car every couple of years, not going on the lash every night, not following fashion in any sense of the word, not bothering about things like Sky TV etc. etc.

(It's known as *not living beyond your means*, it used to be all the rage).

"Those who ain't" should bugger off to the EU, as you seem convinced it's so much better, but I'd suggest they get a move on and do it while they still can.

Pretty much, but unless everything doubles in price, I'll be OK, and if it does, I'll find another way.

"The government says it will propose an "innovative and untested approach" to customs checks as part of its Brexit negotiations.

The model, one of two being put forward in a newly-published paper, would mean no customs checks at UK-EU borders.

The UK's alternative proposal - a more efficient system of border checks - would involve "an increase in administration", it admits."

This shudder of clowns are negotiating amongst themselves, not with the EU.

All,

I believe I fully understand BREXIT.

What had been a cold, dry tundra on the north-western edge of Europe grew warmer and wetter as the ice caps melted some 10,000 years ago. The Irish Sea, North Sea and the Channel were all dry land, albeit land slowly being submerged as sea levels rose. But it wasn't until 6100BC that Britain broke free of mainland Europe for good.

Now, after another 8 thousand years, as the world has become smaller and smaller the UK wants to break away again and become a small posh island in never never land.

Is that close? Or am I missing something?

Yup we want to be just like you but poorer

England when it was britania and long before traded with most of the european continent but generally we didnt have to pay billions to do it nor put up with their bullying

Saying that rome wanted to cut out the middle men so did a lot of bullying for 400 years so we have some experience of bullies ,then ofcourse we did it ourselves for a while but going soft got us into the mess when people we (along with others ) saved or stopped from ruling by force now want their pound of english flesh
