corydoras 468
We haven't got a constitution, the remain campaign also broke election rules and neither of the two leave campaigns decided that we would leave the EU - that was 17,410,742 ordinary British citizens. You are continually advocating for nothing less than throwing democracy in the ****. But don't worry Cod, Help is at hand: You mean 17,410,742 - 16,141,241 The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.Vaut mieux ne rien dire et passer pour un con que de parler et prouver que t'en est un!Mi, ch’fais toudis à m’mote

snakey1 185
You mean 17,410,742 - 16,141,241 Why would you subtract one from the other ? Ken was quoting how many people voted leave, that number doesn't change no matter how many voted remain.
Sportsman 350
We keep hearing "it was the will of the people" No, it was the will of some of the people". Those people did however, outnumber the others by a very small margin. Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be. chesters1 1578
Only 13 million odd voted for the tories but it seems ok for them to be in power Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you None of this "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" crap it just means i have at least two enemies! There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong Its far easier to curse the darkness than light one candle Mathew 4:19 Grangers law : anything i say will turn out the opposite or not happen at all! Ken L 983
We keep hearing "it was the will of the people" No, it was the will of some of the people". Those people did however, outnumber the others by a very small margin. 1,269,501 people's votes is not "a very small margin". The difference between the number of people who voted to leave the EU and the number of people who voted to remain is just shy of 8% of the number that voted to remain. Once again, this is in no way "a very small margin". Edited August 15, 2018 by Ken L Species caught in 2020: Barbel. European Eel. Bleak. Perch. Pike. Species caught in 2019: Pike. Bream. Tench. Ken L 983
I've seen no evidence that anybody has had a change of heart other than totally biased remain funded polls published in remain supporting media. We had a referendum and a parliamentary vote in favour of leave and the will of the people should be to implemented. To do anything else is to literally pi55 in the fundamental principles of our democracy. You don't seem to have any problem with ignoring the will of the people when the status quo is left leaning and globalist but somehow I doubt that you would approve of a far right government procrastinating and suggesting a second election when the people had voted to remove them. Again ken what have got to worry about if the will of the people is exactly the same as 2 years ago its game over brexit here we come no more referendums we would leave to what I dont know but that would be the final outcome farage would get his £6 million payoff no wonder he wants out .
