Will Donald trump last

My closing comment on this thread is to caution you not to make the mistake others have made and continue to believe that Trump actually has some sort of “political vision”, and that vision is what is guiding the new administration’s actions. Trump lies and flip flops so much that one can never be sure of what he believes. The only consistencies that I can observe are his likely pathological need for approval an devotion. Everything he has ever done has been done to stroke his ego. Others have benefited from things he has accomplished but to me, that has been coincidental. He is a classic example of a damaged child.

Without mentioning the UK, BREXIT or common interests we may have and have discussed over and over here is a list of things the president changed his mind on this week, twitter, Russia, NATO, ISIS, the Nuclear Arsenal, Climate Change and the Iran Deal. This is just my list, nothing official but I read. I would give the guy a chance if I only knew how?

I Totally Agree. But this thread gets back on course or it will be closed.

And why is the BBC giving so much coverage to his speeches? Surely there are more important things happening in the world than the stupid statements of this comb-overed idiot! To me, it sounds like he's already started his campaign for the next election!

If anyone feels that the BBC coverage on Trumps' speeches are OTT, complain on this link :)

Turned the news on tonight and threee he was with his staunch supporters waving banners like an election rally what the hell is it all coming to why the BBC gave him this air time is beyond me .

What Trump does, as the most powerful man on the planet, is news, like it or not.

As the USA is the UK's closest / biggest/ most important ally then what he does is important to the UK.

He doesn't act or conduct himself like a President, all he wants is the adulation. He is mentally ill and that fact should concern us all.

Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be.

Really, why do you cherry pick what news to display? perhaps he can do some good for the usa to keep the likes of this guy from causing havoc. This guy was convicted, trump hasn't. What facts have you got regarding his mental ability, or is it wishful thinking assumption on your part.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

''...He is mentally ill and that fact should concern us all'

I suspect that some may challenge you on your statement concerning Trump's mental health, citing your lack of qualifications to pronounce him mentally 'ill' and the absence of any valid diagnosis to that effect. However in a little more than 'Lay' terms I agree with you. Based upon his actions and significantly what he says there is a strong case to locate the 'dirty Donald' as quite nuts. There have been a number of diagnostic tests/observations on him sadly so far from a distance. A very compelling one is the 'Hare Psychopathy Checklist' (criminal psychologist Robert Hare), a triage tool used to separate the injured the tripping and the psychopathic. The subject is scored 0, 1 or 2 on each of 20 items of the test. (total of 40) anything over 30 indicates the potential for. psychopathy...any honest and objective application gives Trump a score of 30 plus, the benchmark to indicate the presence of psychopathy...look it up and try it.

The man himself advances unhampered by science or any other attempt at 'truth' (admittedly an ambiguous concept in itself), for during his presidential campaign he freely diagnosed medical illness to others, for example, he called Lindsey Graham “a nut job,” Glenn Beck “a real nut job,” and Bernie Sander a wacko''. Has maintained that Ben Carson's got a “pathological disease,” and asked of Barack Obama: “Is our president insane?” He called Ted Cruze,“unstable “unhinged, a little bit of a maniac,” and “crazy or very dishonest.” He also called the entire CNBC network ''crazy''and Megan Kelly “crazy”on at least six occasions.

BTW Abdel Rhaman was Egyptian so he wasn't on the list of seven countries that Trump banned, so it is unlikely that Trump would have achieved anything in keeping him from causing havoc.

None of the 9/11 killers were from countries that Trump banned.

Immigrants from the banned countries caused ZERO terrorist attacks in the USA so banning them would make ZERO difference.

Well, I was watching an advert on telly about a car with wifi, how does that work? Surely you will have to pay for a SIM card for 4G coverage or is it like the rescue system on new volvos, has a phone built in but no monthly charge as the car can only contact Volvo.

Also rather annoyed that I cannot get a ferry to the big island tomorrow morning, have to wait till the afternoon, all very good 'upgrading' the ferries for bigger capacity, but when they run fewer ferries means difficulty in getting off on a Monday and home on a Friday, just not good. (two examples of going off topic.)

Emma two soles, you are acting like a little girl, is an example of an insult, although in your case might make you go all giggly.

Whilst replying with a quote from your post JohnS, it is not about what you said but my thoughts on what happend, my post was regarding the thoughts that, because 1.8 million people signed a petition regarding Donald that fact alone means it should of been acted upon, I pointed out the double standards where the same poster chooses to disregard the result of the referendum. A poster decided to ask a question on that which I replied.

I am more than just interested in hearing the views of phone or anybody else who can give us a view of the situation without the influence of the media or of the left wing liberal elite on Oscar day or similar.

Am I to assume that the Trump thread has now run its course? If so, I'll close this one down and we can take the Brexit thing back to its own thread :)
