Right then, I've finally thawed out and woken up enough from the Predator Fish-In to start planning for (read: worrying about!) this, so a few questions for those in the know.

In the event that I decide to take more than one outfit (e.g. trotting rod/reel, and pike rod/reel), is it safe to leave one lot in the vehicle whilst fishing with the other? Do we even get a chance to return to the vehicles without spoiling the fishing? Is it just better to drag everything round with oneself all day?

Kick off time? And when can we fish to?

I'm sure plenty more questions will enter my head in the next week or so, but that's a start!

Right then - my mate Paul can no longer get the day off so his place has gone to Tiddler Tamer. Everyone has already paid me (except for TT - and his cheque is in the post) so I will be the only one putting monies through the letter box.

Fishing is from Dawn to Dusk - and I will be fishing both - though will probably hang around fishing near the hut for the first few hours playing the genial host and greeting you all as you arrive. (Nothing to do with the fact that some nice dace have been coming out from that bit you understand!)

I shall be wandering around with just a rod and net - and leaving the rest of my tackle in the car - never had any problems with that in the past.....

Any more questions just ask....

Thank you both for the quick reply, might even take a light quivertip rod too then.

Dawn start eh? Let me see, 1hr 40 drive time (ish...Multimap), so presuming sunrise of 6:15 and first light/dawn twilight of 5:45, then 3:30 wake-up call should do the trick.

Thought of another Q: do they supply a printed map, or should I print out the one on their website?

The only maps I've seen are those which folk have printed from the website, it's not great but good enough to get you around. They'll be plenty of people there to point you in the right direction. The fishery limits are obvious so don't worry too much about straying into forbidden territory.

It's never a 'six', let's put it back
