This has got to be something of a very worrying first in that I am going to agree with Chesters on something :o

I feel that there is room for a dedicated section for old tackle/traditional/classic angling type posts and we could automatically drop all of the dreaded centerpin threads in there and that will save us all having to repeat ourselves endlessly on the subject.

I haven't been on here much because.

I moved into the country and the phone lines are so bad I needed two lines to have the internet.

Even then the internet was so erratic and slow I wouldn't pay for an exra line.

That was five years ago

Now it's much improved I get about 700Kbits/s

I am not posting as often as I used to, but then again I am not Coarse fishing these days; and Coarse fishing makes up the bulk of the threads. I stopped looking at the non fishing political threads a long time ago.

In my case I got fed up with archaic computer.

 

I got another one secondhand from my mate's work but it sat for a time, needing some serious work done on it and a new operating system. Andy_1984 came over recently and good as his word, closed some partitions on the computer and installed Windows 7 for me. It turned out the computer was aactuallyquite good and with some serious ooverhauling works beautifully, which has rreinvigoratedmy interest in the internet, hence my recent reappearance on various sites.

 

So, if I've got anyone's back up recently, you can thank Andy_1984 for getting me back online....lol
